Julian Hong, Associated Student Body president and event organizer, speaks to classmates about the upcoming event “AAPI Youth Mental Health: Opening Intergenerational Conversations.” The panel discussion will be held at 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., tommorow in the Palo Alto High School Performing Arts Center. According to Hong, he has been planning this event since February, and he is looking forward to hearing the speakers discuss how to deal with mental health in the workplace and college. “I'm excited to have TAAF and Third State as partners,” Hong said. “They have been incredibly helpful in organizing the line-up of speakers who can speak to both Asian American experiences and professional experiences.”

The new Wellness Center in the Tower Building at Palo Alto High School offers crafts and relaxing games for students during lunch time. According to Wellness Coordinator Andy Barker, many students have already taken advantage of the space. "A lot of students have used the space already to get the services they need, or to talk to someone else,” Barker said.

The Polynesian Club performs a cultural dance during the Parent Fair this evening at the Tower Building. According to senior Anaiah Latu (right), she was proud to showcase her culture. "The dance performance went well," Latu said. "We were able to come together and perform as a group and show as many people as we could about the Polynesian culture as well as a traditional dance. The Tower Learning Center in the Tower Building is set to open Monday. According to intervention specialist, math teacher and temporary supervisor YJ Lee, many students are looking forward to the new area. "I have had a lot of students come in asking about the space or how to get tutored or be a tutor," Lee said. "A lot of people are curious and we're really excited."
