Track sprints into CCS Finals

Both the girls and boys 4x400 teams and the girls 4x100 team qualified for the CCS 50th Anniversary Finals this Friday at San Jose City College, along with individual racers seniors Anna Dukovic and Julia Asin and juniors Cat Yu, Dami Bolarinwa and Eli Givens.
Bracelets support Adolescent Counseling Services

Two Palo Alto High School seniors are selling an assortment of beaded bracelets to support the Adolescent Counseling Services. They are currently selling for $25 and can be bought by contacting Claire Chevallier or Emma Chiu through Facebook.
Admin delegates new staff positions for 2015-16

Palo Alto High School will have both new and familiar faces on campus for the 2015-16 school year, according to a staff position announcement at the Site Council meeting yesterday. The changes include math teacher Kathi Bowers as Athletic Director, math teacher Suzanne Antink as the PAUSD Teacher on Special Assignment for Math Common Core State Standards and Peter Diepenbrock as head boys’ varsity basketball coach.

The Palo Alto girls' soccer team (15-2,9-2) shut out Homestead High School (6-8-3, 2-6-3) by a score of 8-0 while celebrating on its senior night. The team had six graduating seniors who were honored after the game.

Student Film Festival to be held Friday

Palo Alto High School's Student Film Festival will showcase a selection of films from the Video Production classes from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6 in the Media Arts Center. Admission is free too all attendees.
