    Spirit Week at Palo Alto High School is always one of the most highly anticipated weeks of the year, with Paly students from every grade dressing up each day, chanting their hearts out. From the energizing lunchtime rallies to the impressive spirit dances and floats, Spirit Week is no doubt a memorable event. The Paly Voice takes a look back at what made Spirit Week 2017 so unforgettable.

    Recap: Last day brings two rallies, showcases floats and dances

    Decked out in Paly colors from head to toe and seniors in camo, students watched from the stands as the seniors triumphed in the last rally game, Hula Hoop Ring, and the teachers performed a Michael Jackson “Thriller” themed dance at the lunch rally today. The festivities then continued during the afternoon rally, where classes presented both their floats and dances to the school to conclude the final day of Spirit Week.

    Spirit Week Day Three results

    The senior class continues to top Palo Alto High School's Spirit Week leaderboard, now with 7800 points after Day Three’s activities. The juniors are in second place with 7000 points, the sophomores are in third place with 5200 points and the freshmen are in last with 4300 points.

    Spirit Week Day Two results

    The senior class is in the lead with 5100 points after Day Two's Spirit Week activities, but the junior is class close behind with 4600 points. The sophomores are in third place with 3400 points, and the freshmen ended day 2 in last with 2700 points.
