Timeline: A senior to-do list

Even with only a few weeks left of the school year, Palo Alto High School seniors still have several events and activities planned for the remainder of their time at Paly. Below is a timeline to help remind seniors of upcoming events and deadlines.

    • Friday, May 22

      Senior No-Pants Day.

    • Friday, May 22

      Deadline to order tickets for Senior Picnic and Grad Night party. Signed consent forms are required for participation.

    • Friday, May 29, 7 p.m.

      Seniors must be in line for Baccalaureate ceremony at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts. Caps, gowns and tickets are available for pickup in the SAO. Any senior needing a cap or gown may borrow one from Matt Hall.
       

    • Friday, May 29, 7:30 p.m.

      Baccalaureate ceremonies begin. This year’s featured speaker is alumna and venture capitalist Ann Miura-Ko, referred to by Forbes as the most powerful woman in startups.

    • Saturday, May 30

      Recommended deadline for ordering final transcripts from Parchment. The last day to order transcripts will be June 23.

    • Monday, June 1, 9 a.m.

      Buses for Senior Picnic depart from the Embarcadero parking lot at Paly. The Senior Picnic, held at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, features unlimited rides, catered lunch and beach access.
       

    • Tuesday, June 2, 7:45 a.m.

      Continental breakfast served by the Parent Teacher Student Association.

    • Tuesday, June 2, 8:15 a.m.

      Mandatory Graduation rehearsal for all seniors. Graduation tickets will be distributed at this time. Each senior may receive up to 10 tickets.

    • Wednesday, June 3, 5 p.m.

      Seniors must be in line for Graduation ceremony, in cap and gown.

    • Wednesday, June 3, 5:30 p.m.

      Graduation!

    • Wednesday, June 3, 8:30 p.m.

      Buses for Grad Night Party, held at an unknown location, depart Paly. Attendees are guaranteed dinner, breakfast, dancing, games, entertainment and prizes.
