Senior Josh Stabinsky, who is in charge of organizing the get-together and a member of ASB, is hopeful.
“This is our first movie night [and] we had been discussing a movie night for a while,” Stabinski said.
Because the event is supposed to be the place to “meet your soulmate,” the organizers of the event thought Valentine’s Day was the perfect opportunity to do so.
“Valentine’s Day just seemed like the ideal time to try it out,” Stabinski said.
There is going to be free entry and beverages and snacks will be sold to all enthusiastic movie goers.
How is ASB going to get the library into the spirit of love?
“The library is always in the Valentine’s Day spirit,” Stabinski said. “It’s one of the most romantic places I’ve ever been in”.
“500 Days of Summer” is an offbeat romantic comedy starring Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
