Overview: Clubs look ahead to in-person activities

Following a year of online club days and club meetings amid virtual learning, Palo Alto High School’s 100 clubs are back in-person, with meetings starting this week. During Club Days on Thursday and Friday, The Paly Voice interviewed some of Paly’s returning and new clubs about their experiences transitioning from virtual to in-person and their goals for this upcoming school year.

![Shounak Dharap, president of the school board of Palo Alto Unified School District, announced Friday morning that Superintendent Don Austin separated from his superintendent position at PAUSD. Corbin Dodd, an Ethnic Studies and AP Seminar teacher at Palo Alto High School, said that Austin's separation from the district surprised him and his colleagues.
