Residents return as Palo Alto parks reopen
May 11, 2020
The City of Palo Alto has transitioned into the new Santa Clara County Public Health Shelter in Place Order on May 4, which allows residents to use all parks, athletic fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, and skatepark after their closing due to COVID-19. Families are permitted to visit these spaces as long as they are obeying social distancing guidelines by staying six feet apart.
To investigate the order’s impact on the community, the Paly Voice visited several Palo Alto parks during the weekend.

Foothills is open, makes no sense!
Get on with it!
