Palo Alto High School students gathered for a climate change rally after school on Friday. Around 20 to 30 Paly students marched to the corner of Embarcadero and El Camino with signs to advocate for government action against climate change. Executive Director of Grassroots Ecology Alex Von Feldt and Reverend Eileen Altman spoke about this issue at the event.
Tens of thousands of students around the nation participated in this rally at their schools, according to KCBX.

According to Sego, people need to take a stand against ICE. "This [ICE] isn’t what the people want, this isn’t what we want and it’s destroying communities," Sego said. "People need to rally against them."](https://palyvoice.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/IMG_2779-1-300x220.jpg)
