With heavy winter showers pelting Palo Alto, the Palo Alto High School Performing Arts Center and gym construction are still operating on schedule, according to the school’s administration.
According to weather.com, last week’s shower on Thursday was the most rain that Palo Alto has received since 2008.
Assistant Principal Jerry Berkson said the PAC is still on schedule to finish at its predicted March 2016 due date, despite the harsh weather.
“Within the game plan of construction, they consider that,” Berkson said. “If they say construction is going to take six months, they know that they’ll lose some days.”
Berkson said that there will be no future repercussions on construction of the PAC barring a consistent couple months of showers.
