Community service opportunities this winter

For students who are currently taking Living Skills and need the required 15 hours of community service, or anyone who simply wants to give back to the community, winter break is a great time to receive credit for a class and also contribute to the gift-giving spirit.

Here is a list of notable volunteering events happening this winter season:
Dec. 13: Edgewood Kinship Support Network event
Dec. 13: St. Anthony’s Padua Dining Room food serving
Dec. 13: Palo Alto Art Center arts and crafts
Dec. 14: InVision Shelter Network’s food serving
Dec. 20: Covenant Food Pantry food distribution
Dec. 23: Project Open Hand food preparation
Dec. 27: Full Circle Farm gardening

Hover above the calendar to see the stars and then hover around each individual star to read about the details of the event on that day. The red stars are community service opportunities that are ongoing, while the green starts are single-day events.
