Palo Alto High School’s Spirit Week started off with Theme Day today, where each grade level dressed in unique yet unifying costumes: seniors in ’90s attire, juniors in pirate costumes, sophomores in soccer-related gear, and freshmen in costumes inspired by Disney’s “The Lion King.” For more information about today’s events, click here.

Each grade held a meeting earlier in the year where it voted upon a theme that matched its class color. Although the seniors chose “The Great Gatsby” as their green-related theme, seniors wore ’90s clothes on Theme Day to follow the tradition of dressing as the decade that they were born in.
