The Palo Alto High School girls’ soccer team (2-0-1 in league) beat the Saratoga Falcons (1-2-0 in league), 3-0, on Jan. 15 at home. Playing mostly offense, Paly dominated the entire game. Sophomore utility player Jacey Pederson scored two goals during the first half, which put Paly up 2-0. Later, senior defender Julia Kwasnick widened the lead with a goal in the second half. At 3:30 p.m. Friday, the Vikings will face the Mountain View Spartans at Mountain View.
