The Paly Voice asked students which calendar option they prefer, in preparation for the School Board vote on Dec. 10 to decide between the two calendar options. The options are outlined below:

Option one is the current calendar. School would start on a Thursday, with a three-day weekend in October and school getting out the last week of May.

Option two is the new proposal. School would start on the Monday following the current start day, there would be no three-day weekend in October and school would get out the first week of June.
