The Palo Alto High School girls’ water polo team will take on Saratoga High School this afternoon at the Paly pool.

For their second home game the Lady Vikes look to improve upon their performance from their last home game against Henry M. Gunn High School, when they lost, 13-1.

The girls are also coming off a 10-5 loss to Los Gatos High School on Tuesday night.

The team needs to improve offensively in order to pull out a win today, according to junior attack Tess Van Hulsen.

“I think executing a lot of the offensive plays is critical,” Van Hulsen said. “I think we have been doing a good job on defense we just need to begin scoring on offense.”

The team will be diving in this afternoon at 4:45 p.m. at Paly.
