CBS 5 Eyewitness News is filming part of its ‘Cool School’ series today at Palo Alto High School.

Assistant Principal Jerry Berkson recently met a person who is involved in producing the TV segments. She learned that Berkson was an assistant principal and asked what makes Paly unique.

“She asked me what is cool about Paly,” Berkson said. “And I said, ‘ We have glass blowing, award-winning journalism and state championship football and volleyball teams.'”

Berkson said she was sold on filming a segment about Paly after that, so the crew is filming today on campus.

“They will be on campus throughout the day,” Berkson said.
