Twenty seven out of 65 businesses in the Town and Country Village will donate ten percent of sales tomorrow to Breast Cancer Connections, a non-profit resource center which provides information and support to people with cancer, according to a statement on the shopping center’s website.
Jamba Juice Shift Manager Emmanuel Avillanoza supports this event.
“We try to give back to the community.” Avillanoza said. ” It’s a good cause and it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.”
The following businesses will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to BCC: Jamba Juice, Lisa DeNeffe Photography, Mom’s TheWord, Nanoo, Patrick James, Scandia Home, Sportissimo, Toss Designs, Touleh Pet Boutique, Urban Nest, U Threads, Village Cheese House, Wilby Optical, Xercise Lab, A Street Bike Named Desire, Ambassador Toys, Asian Box, Astor Gift & Home, Bespoke Home, Books Inc., Calafia Café and Market a Go-Go, Cold Stone Creamery, Create It Ceramics, Day One, Douce France, HALO–A Blow Dry Bar and Hobee’s, according to the T&C blog.
Nanoo, Patrick James, Scandia Home, Sportissimo, Touleh Pet Boutique, U Threads, Wilby Optical, Xercise Lab, Books Inc., Douce France and HALO–A Blow Dry Bar will also give a 10 percent reduction to consumers who mention BCC when purchasing products and services.
According to T&C’s events page, BCC will also be selling pink t-shirts which would benefit BCC directly between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Palo Alto Fire Department will also be in attendance. There will be entertainment and a spin the wheel activity.
