The Palo Alto High School library will reduce its hours from May 7 to May 18 due to Advanced Placement testing.
A complete listing of the revised hours can be found here. Computer Lab 1, the portable building in front of the library, will be open at brunch and lunch on the days the library is closed, according to librarian Rachel Kellerman.
Kellerman apologized for any inconveniences to students.
“Ms. [Deborah] Henry and I wish there were other venues to hold the AP tests but there is no other space on campus that can offer a very large, quiet and secure place to test,” Kellerman said. “Hopefully once the campus remodel is finished we will have alternative spaces to test and the library won’t have to close.”
