Palo Alto High School’s Camp Everytown nomination forms are available to pick up in the Main Office, the Library and Room 28, according to Living Skills teacher Letitia Burton.
The applications are due by Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Room 28. The application asks questions such as what campus activities the applicant does and why attending the camp is important to them.
Camp Everytown, which is run by the organization Silicon Valley FACES, a non-profit organization against prejudice and bigotry, will take place on Feb. 29 and runs until March 3. Its mission is to “build positive relationships across the deepest social divides,” including “race, religion, gender, ethnicity, culture, income, ability [and] age,” according to the organization’s website.
