A trench will be dug through the lawn in front of the Tower Building mid-December to facilitate the installation of a new boiler for the Tower Building, according to assistant principal Jerry Berkson.

The trench will be fenced off and will not interfere with students. Digging will commence sometime before winter break and will hopefully finish before students return to school, Berkson said . The trench will extend from the quad-facing side of the Tower Building across towards the Haymarket Theater.
