Palo Alto High School experienced a phenomenal year in sports, winning four section titles and two state championships.

The volleyball team won its first-ever state championship on December 5, 2010, and the football team followed up with a state championship of its own just 12 days later.  Both teams also won Central Coast Section titles.

Paly’s girls’ basketball team seized the Division I CCS title over Gunn on March 5, 2011, while the baseball team captured the CCS Division I title on May 28, 2011.

Finally, both the boys’ and girls’ swim teams took second place at CCS.

Below is a timeline of Paly’s major athletic achievements during the 2010-2011 school year.
