Students who are attending the Palo Alto High School Prom, set to occur Saturday, must fulfill several requirements before getting on the buses that will take them to the Westin St. Francis hotel in San Francisco.
All students attending must arrive at school by 5 p.m. and are required to carry a photo ID and pass a breathalyzer test in order to board the buses.
There will be a pre-prom reception in Paly’s senior court, where students and families may take informal photos. Professional photos from LifeTouch are available upon request.
According to the Westin St. Francis hotel’s Web site, this “historic hotel has become the center of the city’s social, literary, and artistic life.” On a slightly off-beat note, chewing gum is prohibited in this building.
The deadline for purchasing tickets was Wednesday. For those with tickets already, the price includes transportation and dinner.
