Paly filmmaking club will host a cameraless filmmaking workshop on Monday during lunch.
The workshop will be held in classroom A1 [the video production room], according to club president Colin Marchon. All materials will be provided and everyone is welcome.
“I am providing all the materials free of charge, no sign up is required, and all are welcome,” Marchon said. “Hopefully if enough interest is built I will continue the workshop on the Monday after break.”
The goal of my cameraless filmmaking workshop is to show Paly one of the many different ways people can make movies, according to Marchon.
“Hopefully [it will] open the minds of students on what one might consider a film,” Marchon said. “I also hope to introduce students to a largely underrated art form, and maybe show people how fun working old 8mm and 16mm film is! [For the workshop] I collected footage from an old 8mm film I worked on, found an old 16mm movie, collected some markers and chemicals from my house and started planning.”
