The Palo Alto High School girls’ swimming team won the Invitational Section Challenge for the second consecutive year against fierce competition on Saturday at the MacKenzie Aquatic Center in Palo Alto.

Paly beat eight other teams from the Central Coast, North Coast, and Sacramento San Joaquin sections, edging out powerhouse Archbishop Mitty High School by four-and-a-half points, 266-261.5.
