The Palo Alto High School girls’ swim team (2-0) outdistanced a field of seven teams to claim the PAHS Spring Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the McKenzie Aquatic Complex.

Palo Alto scored 265 points to defeat Los Gatos, King’s Academy, Gunn, Wilcox, Los Altos and University High School. Paly’s only victories came in the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay, but the Vikings placed enough swimmers in other events to gain the necessary points to ensure an overall win.
