Paly’s annual Winter Formal will be from 7:30-10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9, in the big gym according to the Associated Student Body.

This year’s theme is Winter Wonderland. Students are expected to wear white and silver formal attire (collared shirts for boys and fancy dresses for girls), according to the Winter Formal Facebook group.

The dance will feature DJ Abunai, also known as senior Evan Gitterman, and is hosted by the Paly ASB. Tickets are $5 with an ASB card and $10 without, and can be purchased from the auditor’s office from Wednesday to Friday at brunch, lunch, and after school, or online at the Paly Webstore.

“We kept the ticket prices as low as possible this year so that it would be as affordable as possible for everyone to attend,” ASB Vice President George Brown said.

Brown expects the dance to be entertaining due to the theme and DJ.

“The dance itself should be awesome, and everyone should be especially excited that DJ Abunai will do a fantastic job with the music.” Brown said. “The combination of the Winter wonderland theme and DJ Abunai should provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to show off their dance moves.”
