The Palo Alto High School Associated Student Body is holding a Spirit Week rally tomorrow, Oct. 28, during advisory in the big gym.
ASB has several activities planned for tomorrow’s rally. The Viking men’s choir and special needs students will sing and the new Paly fight song will be unveiled, according to ASB Spirit Commissioner, senior Alex Freeman.
The song, which was commissioned by the Parent Teacher Student Association last year, has already been presented to faculty, but this is the first time that students will hear it. Like the current fight song, it will be played at sporting events, parades and rallies.
ASB has also planned other activities for the rally.
“We are going to have a half court shootout and a cheer contest,” Student Activities Director Kindel Launer said. “It’s going to be great fun and we urge everyone to go.”
