Raffel: Hi Paly, this is Helena Raffel and Maya Shemtov of The Paly Voice, bringing you the latest news from the Paly campus for the week of Sept. 8-11, 2009.

Shemtov: Paly cheerleaders will host Paly’s first Heroes’ Rally after school from 12-1 p.m. to honor local heroes in the community. Quiznos will offer $5 meals, and students can come and watch competitions and be spirited.

Raffel: At the annual Alumni meet on Thursday at Gunn High School’s Bol Park, officially an unscored meet, Paly cross country finished second by two points behind host Gunn High School.

Shemtov: Paly teachers hosted parents for Back to School Night on Thursday. This provided the opportunity for freshman teachers to discuss large class sizes with parents.
