The Powderpuff football game canceled today due to supervision and scheduling conflicts may be rescheduled, according to vice principal Jerry Berkson.
“There was no supervision for the event,” Berkson said. “Also, there were Rachel Austin awards during lunch, so that posed a scheduling conflict for students who wanted to attend both.”
According to Berkson, the game requires qualified supervisors and will be rescheduled to avoid conflict with other activities.
“We will need supervision and probably [athletic trainer] Stacey [Kofman] out there,” Berkson said. “It can’t conflict with any other activities. Tomorrow, [Thursday] we have the volunteer luncheon, so it can’t be then.”
The game could be held after school, but would still require supervision, according to Berkson.
“If it’s an on-campus organized activity, then it will need supervision,” said Berkson.
More information on the rescheduling of Powderpuff football to come soon.
