The Palo Alto Unified School District is currently facing a High State of Alert in response to the outbreak of swine flu.

PAUSD nurse Linda Lenoir and other school administrators will meet after school today to decide how the district will address the issue. The district will follow county guidelines regarding the High State of Alert.

Staff members were notified about the High State of Alert via e-mail this morning, and an e-mail will be sent out to parents later today, according to Lenoir.
