Paly’s softball teams will hold a fundraiser at The Counter on Monday and Tuesday.

From 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on each of these days, when a flyer detailing the event is presented to the server, 10 percent of the meal’s cost will go to the team.

Flyers are available from varsity softball players and coach Adam Yonkers. The flyers can also be downloaded and printed off of the Facebook group.

According to senior centerfielder Wong, the funds could help pay for anything from tarps to cover the field to warm-up shirts so the team can be in uniform during practice.

Senior captain and catcher Allie Coleman voiced a similar list.

“I think the money should go towards new equipment,” Coleman said. “We need to work on our field and upgrade it a little bit.”

According to Coleman, the softball field has not had much attention recently.

“I think that this [lack of attention] is because the fields are scheduled to be upgraded soon,” Coleman said.
