A viewing and visitation for Palo Alto High School senior David Wagner will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Roller, Hapgood, and Tinney Funeral Home in Palo Alto.

Wagner died Tuesday afternoon, according to an email Principal Jacqueline McEvoy sent yesterday to Paly parents and staff members.

According to the email, the open-casket service is “an opportunity to see David, say goodbye, and pay your respects to his family.”

Paly is providing counselors for students who may have trouble dealing with the news of Wagner’s death. The funeral home is located at 980 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, Calif.
