Paly’s Associated Student Body will hold a Halloween Rally during lunch on Friday, Oct. 31 in the quad, according to Allison Mullins, Student Activities Director.
The main activity of the rally will be a candy-tossing contest, the winner of which will receive a bucket of free candy, Mullins said.
In addition, the Paly Dance Company will perform during the event. According to senior co-captain Alyssa Burton, the dance was originally scheduled to take place during Spirit Week, but there was not enough time available during lunchtime rallies to do so.
“Our whole team’s really excited about the dance,” Burton said. “We’re really hoping it won’t rain.”
The rally will not include a costume contest, unlike Halloween rallies in previous years, because a majority of students might not wear costumes to school, according to Mullins.
