The Paly Voice announced the winner of the Voice freshman iPod raffle during fifth period on Oct. 7.

The Voice staff personally delivered a lime green iPod nano to winner Emelia Kellison’s math class amid great fanfare.

“I was really surprised,” Kellison said. “I definitely will be more likely to go on Voice in the future.”

Her classmates expressed similar enthusiasm.

“I probably will go on the site in the future,” said freshman Suzanna Ackroyd.

Not all of Kellison’s classmates were interested in what the site had to offer.

“It was exciting, but I will probably not be visiting the site,” freshman William Prince said.

Tickets for the raffle were handed out during freshman orientation, and Voice selected a winner from the ticket numbers that were submitted online.
