Paly’s four journalism staffs are bracing for changes next fall as veteran senior writers will graduate and new reporters will rise from their Beginning Journalism classes into the school’s publications. The new recruits will have the benefit of their classmates’ experienced advice, but will also look to published guidebooks for the finally word.

A few of these are printed, but the most frequently updated are digital help websites such as www.hsjournal.com, www.highskoolpaper.org and www.ijournalism.net. Many students have encouraged their advisers to start including these digital guidebooks in the school curriculum so that Paly can continue to set the nation’s pace for high school journalism
