A week after Paly students voted for their favorite candidates for the 2006-2007 Student Council, the ballots are counted and results are in.

Students re-elected incumbent sophomore Mohammed Abid to serve his second semester as Associated Student Body (ASB) President. Abid defeated juniors Josh Krumbein and former ASB Vice President Kolby Dauler to retake his seat at the head of the Student Council. Junior Ariana Snow was elected as ASB Vice President, and sophomore Roxy Busch was elected as ASB Secretary. Junior Peter Lo will assume the job of School Board Representative.

In the fall, current juniors Ryan Giordano and Brigid Hurn-Maloney and current sophomore Alexis Medina will take over as the new Spirit Commissioners, with sophomore Sasha Wasniak as the Sprit Team Liaison.

For the class elections, Tyler Stetson, who ran unchallenged, will be the Senior Class President and twin sisters Michelle and Monique Ellis will be Senior Class Representatives.

Juniors elected Sahar Raz as their class president, with Morgan Pitchinson, Nicole Traube, and Kristen Witte as Junior Class Representatives.

Eric Klingbeil will lead sophomores as class president, with Jenna Lose, Becca Byler, and Monica Bhide as Sophomore Class Representatives.

Freshmen will select their officers at the beginning of the school year.
