Palo Alto High School students will have the opportunity to play on inflatable slides and participate in fun outdoor activities during their extended lunch on Field Day this Friday.
The adjusted schedule includes a 75-minute lunch, with food provided for students, along with 45-minute classes. Due to the extended lunch, students will attend all seven of their classes tomorrow.
This year, additional games, slide and obstacle courses have been added, according to sophomore class Vice President Anmol Nagar.
ASB hopes that this will be a relaxing day for all students.
“The purpose of Field Day is for students to let loose and relax after APs [Advanced Placement Tests] and also start the final stretch of the school year in a positive way,” sophomore class President Noa Ben-Efraim said.
Nagar is also looking forward to Field Day.
“I’m so excited for this year’s Field Day and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on the Quad,” Nagar said.
