Slideshow: Girls’ basketball beats Mountain View in CCS thriller

Palo Alto High School’s girls’ basketball team (13-12, 5-7) triumphed over the Mountain View Spartans (13-12, 4-8) in the Central Coast Section quarterfinals Saturday afternoon at Gunn High School.

The Vikings trailed by 10 at the half, but pulled out a win, 57-54, in the final quarter. The score ended as 57-54.

Paly will compete against North Salinas High School at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gunn High School in the CCS semifinals.
