Karen Hendricks announced earlier today that administrators will remove Franco’s paintings from the MAC, just days after hiring workers to paint over his mural on the Student Center. “Related to this [the removal of Franco’s first mural in 2016], district staff recently considered the best interests of our students in the light of our educational mission, and decided to remove and return the remaining artwork,” Hendricks wrote.
