According to senior setter Lorenzo Lisi, the Vikings strengthened their team bonds through this game and will be able to apply their newfound knowledge to future practices and games. "Our team really banded together throughout this very difficult game," Lisi said. "We're gonna be able to have productive practices after this game to really improve on our hits when they're off of the net. Palo Alto Unified School District Superintendent Don Austin speaks at a press conference on a range of education-related issues last Friday in the MAC. Among other topics, Austin clarified the reasoning behind his stance on ChatGPT from the previous week's announcement. “We’re focusing on ChatGPT,” Austin said. “It’s one of thousands of AI programs that are out there right now. When it first got attention, there was already more coming up that will help students, and more coming up that would harm students and create safety issues.”

The Vikings narrowly beat the Santa Clara Bruins, 1-0, and will play the Los Altos Eagles for the league champion title on Wednesday. According to Viking senior center back Jonas Pao, the Vikings fought hard for this victory, despite the Vikings' loss at the previous encounter. “I think the mentality was right,” Pao said. “I know there's a lot of distraction with the fans, but really the defense really kept inside of their own minds. They really made sure that nothing got them to guide them away. They're focused, and then we just did the job.”
