A former Stanford Dean of Admissions will give a talk on the college admissions process Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Haymarket Theater.

Co-authors Robin Mamlet and Christine Van de Velde will be talking about their recent book, College Admissions; From Application to Acceptance Step by Step. They will also direct an extended question and answer session on tackling the college admissions process.

Mamlet is the former Dean of Admissions at Stanford, Swarthmore, and Sarah Lawrence College, and was a college counselor at Castilleja School. Van de Velde is local journalist who has written about college admissions in the past.

All high school students and parents are invited to attend.
