Students can learn about various community service opportunities on during lunch on Thursday at the quad, according to Career Adviser Christina Owen.
The annual community service fair will be held for students learn about volunteering at a variety of organizations. Organizations include local and national non-profits such as My New Red Shoes, the Midpeninsula Community Media Center, the Palo Alto Farmers’ Market, American Red Cross and the Special Olympics.
Owen hopes that the community service fair inspires students to volunteer.
“We are looking forward to sharing more volunteering ideas with Paly students,” Owen said.
Student clubs are also invited to set up tables, according to Owen.
“If your club does any volunteer work to make a difference in the world, we want you to join us at the fair,” Owen said.
