The following is a transcript of the video above.
Cee-Ning Wong: Amid the stress of finals week, students had to deal with massive puddles around campus that made it difficult to travel around Paly.
Shannon Lee: Since the beginning of the school year, massive flooding has been seen and dealt with, but never to this extent.
Wong: In the past, wooden crates were used as makeshift bridges. In need of more crates, Paly turned to plastic recycling bins, which were seen scattered around campus, slowly becoming submerged in the puddles.
Lee: Puddles slowly crept closer to the classrooms, threatening to flood them while students took their final exams.
Wong: Custodians placed sandbags around classroom doors to prevent flooding.
Lee: Students sought shelter from the rain and flooding in various locations during break, including the library, the math resource center, and underneath the overhangs.
Wong: This has been Cee-Ning Wong and Shannon Lee of The Paly Voice.
