The Paly boys’ water polo team (5-9, 2-3 SCVAL), lost to Gunn High School, 10-5 on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Palo Alto High School.

The Gunn Titans got off to an early lead in the first quarter and the Vikings could not manage to compose themselves for the remainder of the game.

Gunn’s senior captain, goalie Spencer Jones, blocked two of Paly’s 5-meter penalty shots.

Senior and team captain Bobby Abbott led the Viking’s goal scoring with four goals, while sophomore Aaron Zelinger scored once.

The Vikings’ next game is at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Mountain View.
