Raffel: Hi Paly, this is Helena Raffel and Maya Shemtov of The Paly Voice, bringing you the latest news from the Paly campus for the week of Aug. 31 – Sept. 4, 2009.
Shemtov: The freshmen elected a president and vice president in elections on Wednesday.
Raffel: Students were able to pick up their planners at lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday in the quad as they did not arrive in time for registration on Aug. 25.
Shemtov: Sarah Pritchard, a drama teacher from England, visited Paly theater classes on Tuesday. She worked with students on passages from Romeo and Juliet and emphasized matching movements with acting.
Raffel: Paly’s theater department held auditions for the fall play Almost, Maine on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Shemtov: Paly’s Back to School dance is tonight from 7:30p.m.- 10p.m. on the quad.
