Paly freshman will select either Brandon Chan or Christine Chang to be their class president during fifth period on Wednesday.

In addition, there is a new freshman position joining student government this year: TEAM president. The candidates for TEAM President are Olivia Diamond, Spencer Dwight, Taylor Dwight, Megan Edwards and Jujhaar Singh. The TEAM president will represent TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More), the interdisciplinary program containing roughly one-third of the freshman class, in student government.

Six freshman representative positions are also available. The freshman class does not vote for representatives, but rather those interested in the positions can go talk to new Student Activities Director, Allison Davies. The positions are filled on a first come, first serve basis. According to Davies, Aaron Ebert is the only freshman representative, so far.

Elections will be held in afternoon classes following speeches from the candidates at lunch.

Sophomores, juniors and seniors voted in May for their new officers. Those officers are ASB President Abid, a junior, Vice President Ariana Snow, a senior, Secretary Roxy Busch, a junior, Senior Class President Tyler Stetson, Junior Class President Sahar Raz and Sophomore Class President Erik Klingbeil.
