The Palo Alto High School library will stay open until 6 p.m. Wednesdays to cater to more students staying after school longer that day, according to Paly librarian Rachel Kellerman.
“Our late hours program found that groups of students wanted to stay later,” Kellerman said.
This change is not final and the library will hold a trial period to see if it will be useful to students, according to Kellerman.
“The library is always looking for ways to support student learning,” Kellerman said. “If enoughstudents participate we will continue to look for funds to keep the library open later.”
The school day ends at 3:25 p.m. on Wednesdays.
