Palo Alto High School’s annual Club Day will take place during an extended lunch period on Friday on the Quad and will let students survey and sign up for the 74 student-run clubs that will be offered this year.
Students from clubs both old and new will advertise their clubs at tables. Returning clubs include the popular Speech and Debate, Mens Chorus and PALY Rocks. There are 33 returning clubs to the 41 new clubs featured on the Quad. The new clubs include TEDxPaloAltoHighSchool, PROOF Magazine and Youth Shelter Awareness. A list of the available clubs can be found on the Associated Student Body website.
Friday’s schedule will be a seven-period day, with 45-minute periods to allow for an extended lunch from 11:30 a.m. and until 1:30 p.m.. The ASB and Parent-Teacher-Student Association will provide free lunches in the Student Center.
