A sheet metal worker fell off the roof of a building under construction at Palo Alto High School today around brunch, according to Assistant Principal Kimberly Diorio.
An ambulance transported the man to Stanford Hospital, Diorio said, adding that he was conscious and could move his limbs, despite having scratches on his face from the fall, when paramedics arrived.
The worker fell from the roof of the new math/social science building scheduled to open Jan. 2014, according to Diorio.
