Ralph (John C. Reilly) is tired of being overlooked for his role as the bad guy in the game Wreck-it Ralph, while Fix-it Felix (Jack McBrayer) takes all the good guy credit and praised as a hero. After decades of being portrayed as the villain, Ralph decides to win a medal, like Felix does every time someone plays their game. Ralph travels to other video games to get this prized medal, but encounters a glitch named Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman), who is on a quest herself, to participate in a car race. Ralph and Vanellope decide to help one another, until Ralph accidentally  releases a harmful parasite that threatens the entire arcade, which sets the entire video game community on a chase to save their games.

The movie is filled with fun and nostalgic amusement. There isn’t a dull moment in the whole film and the animation is colorful and entertaining. No matter what age you are, “Wreck-it Ralph” is a film that is perfect for all ages, although it may seem like it is targeted to a younger audience.

We thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed many times throughout the movie. With many characters each with their own unique personality, this film has many levels of comedy that can appeal to all types. The movie contains outstanding visuals thanks to Disney, and the actors were appropriately chosen in terms of matching their characters.  Specifically, Sarah Silverman provided the character Vanellope with the perfect amount of child appeal, as well as subtle charm to the older audiences.

We recommend “Wreck-It Ralph” to any person who is looking to watch a joyful, lighthearted movie with illuminating visuals. This film will not disappoint and smashes all previous expectations.
