Three Printz Award-winning authors will visit the Palo Alto High School library during third period beginning at 10:30 a.m. on April 25 to answer questions and sign books.
The line-up includes Daniel Handler, author of the Series of Unfortunate Events and his more recent young adult novel Why We Broke Up. When Handler last visited Gunn’s Spangenberg Theater, he spoke to a packed house, according to Paly librarian Rachel Kellerman.
Popular fantasy authors Maggie Stiefvater, whose novels include the Shiver series and her new book The Scorpio Races, and John Corey Whaley, writer of Where Things Come Back, will also be present. This year, Corey Whaley’s first (aforementioned) work was the Printz Award-winner for excellence in young adult literature.
Kellerman has ten copies of each recently released book available for students to read and review.
